Indonesian Folk tales

Indonesia is an archipelago located in the eastern hemisphere. In this scenic land, inhabited by tribes that occupy thousands of islands, where the customs are still preserved and respected
.
Generally these customs born of the belief in the bond between man and nature. Humans depend on nature, where nature has given human life. So the duty of man is still preserved.

Faiths handed down from generation to generation, including taboo. May do or not do something in order to remain friendly with the human nature. If people obeyed the rules will have welfare. Conversely, if the taboo is violated, then the disaster just waiting to be given by nature.

Humans are always at one with nature. In every creation in nature such as mountains, trees places, objects, rocks, rivers, lakes, animals and so on.  Man are always engaged or involved in it. Is it a curse because of their mistakes, or even their existence is a blessing for life. Depending on the background incidence.

At the present time a lot of people do not believe anymore in the presence of the human contribution to the creation of nature. Generally people think it was all legends, a hundred  even thousands of years heritage of folk tales.

Whether the legends of nature creation are real or not, but its content essentially always  teach and remind people to behave wisely towards all beings and the natural environment in which people share their lives.

Amazingly, sometimes there is a semblance of location and also evidence of legacy which is obtained by the modern research, many of people believe that the folklore in certain areas are the community documentation of the events that occurred at that time.
